Recently had a technician over to take a look at my malfunctioning dishwasher. After his review, he said he would go get some parts. I asked him what the issue was. His response: 'we don't disclose that information'. Of course, how will they get business if they disclose appliance diagnosis. Everyone can get the steps from YouTube and parts from Amazon.

Just realized France is playing Senegal tomorrow. A replay of 2002 World Cup upset. I’m certain the French still remember these names: Khalilou Fadiga, Salif Diao, Papa Bouba Diop, Henri Camara, El Hadji Diouf.

While in Delft sometimes back, I went to William of Orange's old house, Prinsenhof, and devoured the history why orange is synonymous with the Netherlands and Dutch identity. Unhappy with the persecution of Dutch Protestants by the Spanish Habsburgs Catholic rulers, he led the Dutch revolt against Spanish occupation. He united Dutch provinces and laid the foundation for the modern independent Dutch Republic. His achievements elevated him to royalty status He stablished the House of Orange-Nassau, making him the first royal ancestor of modern Dutch monarchy. His shrewd and successful rebellion did not sit well with the ruling King Phillip II of Spain (from whom The Philippines is named after). The king put out a hefty reward for whoever succeeds in killing him. A catholic successfully assassinated him at his house in Delft in 1584. His family name and the color orange became synonymous with the Dutch identity (Orange Free State and Orange River in South Africa come from this same Orange).

Half of these are actually high school β€œFOOTBALL” stadiums.
Just 4 games in USA and we’ve seen how overrated the England stadiums are, especially Wembley.

Iso-ball, hero-ball, name it. African teams’ achilles heel in global tournaments.
These Ivory Coast playere are selfish. Why is everyone trying to shine??. Where is the team spirit???

The people who scheduled Scotland to play in Boston absolutely know what they are doing. Throngs of Celtic people matching through Boston Commons, cladded in kilts and blaring bagpipes, is a sight to behold.

I'm happy for Spike Lee. The New York Knicks are NBA champs. That old man is going to bed very happy tonight.

It’s not a news page. It’s a cheap tabloid designed to farm engagement for financial gain. Why would they do anything that hurts their pockets? I can say this because I see them posting some of my short films and pics with made-up, misleading and false sensationalized captions. Why validate anything from the source if it doesn’t make money?
Can we all agree that Hot in Juba appears more aligned with government circles than with independent scrutiny? The page is regularly invited to cover up state functions and official events, while public criticism of government actions appears rare on its platform.

I hope our cousins Aliab can sit Pandeng Malou down and make him really understand the consequences of his actions. He is single-handedly killing a beautiful sport that has given him a name and made him somebody in society. Stepping on your opponents after throwing them down is inviting violence into a sport that has become a major tourist attraction in South Sudan. We are all made of the same stuff, big egos and don’t like disrespect. What starts as tit-for-tat revenges can quickly escalate into major violence and put a stop to our current friendly wrestling sport.

CuraΓ§ao and Cabo Verde are at this year’s World Cup, both clocking in 150K and 500K people respectively. China and India didn’t make the cut, Both account for 35% of humanity, about 3 billion people. A lot to take away from this.

How she is going about it feels like she is making a statement, a message to broader Australian society. Like β€˜look here racists, you’ve won. You’ve driven me away from Australia’. Which feels like an emotional reaction and not necessarily the best of her options. Maybe she has tried getting mental health help, because therapy would have benefited her immensely. Basically, quit all her high profile jobs and engagements with visibility. And move away for a few years to heal.
Award-winning human rights lawyer Nyadol Nyuon is renouncing her Australian citizenship following severe experiences of racism and a lack of support from major institutions. The daughter of late William Nyuon has also returned the Order of Australia medal that she won years ago.

Larin made such a big difference in 15 minutes of work. Oluwaseyi shouldn’t step on the grass for the remaining 2 group games. #canada

These are mostly Bosnian Canadians. Toronto is what New York and London think they are. Humanity’s best diversity experiment.

After watching South Korea play Czechia, I was retroactively disappointed in Bafana Bafana’s display from earlier. SA just couldn’t string together a couple coherent attacks, disjointed and lost. It looked like they were just meeting each other on the pitch for the first time.
