The left is going to alienate the broad majority of the country through its growing detachment from everyday reality. Rather than adapting to what people actually experience and value, many on the left have doubled down on an uncompromising ideology - one that often feels corrosive to family, community, cohesion, and long-standing civilisational norms. They appear to believe that rigid insistence and moral condemnation will somehow win hearts and minds among ordinary citizens who simply want safety, prosperity, fairness, and stability.
