Rest In Peace Val Kilmer.
This is gut wrenching. Val Kilmer was one of my favorite 80s actors - from Top Secret to Top Gun and Real Genius, the man was amazing…and even more so going into the 90s with The Saint and Tombstone.

When I first started, GenX was talking about our favorite music & movies.
Somewhere along the way, the loud, obnoxious kids started to come in & start lecturing the kids.
I'd love to see GenX go back to being the cool, quiet kids again and leave all the bitching to the kids.

I just got word the one of the greatest actors of our time, Gene Hackman, has passed away. He and his wife were found at their home yesterday.

🤣It’s funny to think back to some of the crazy stuff we all believed in as kids growing up in the 70s-90s...What’s even funnier is that a lot of the same kind of thing goes on now in spite of having things like Snopes and Google to help figure out what is true or not.

🎥 80s movies had an absolute plethora of great cinematic cars. And, as a GenX kid, I wanted to get behind the wheel of all of them! Even though I didn’t have a license until 1988...but where we’re going, we don’t need licenses!

⛔👉I am going to say this upfront: the only reason to watch Zapped! was Heather Thomas. She was already a star thanks to her role as Jody Banks in The Fall Guy, so you know I was first in line to see her in this flick as a kid.🔥

💲💹With inflation through the roof, and prices being jacked up so much during C0vid, things are expensive now! I remember when I could go to @McDonalds and get a super-sized meal for about $6...now a burger by itself costs almost that much! 🍔🍟🥤

🎥I know, much like Road House, we GenXers have an odd attraction to this really terrible movie. I think it is because it was on constant cable rotation for about ten year.
🎶On the plus side, it had an equally badass soundtrack.
