With the annoucement of #Destiny2 ramping down, I decided it would be good to finish that last expansion then.

Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

This is available as of Unity Hub 3.17.1, supports GitHub, Unity Version Control, and GitLab, and it will personally save me so much time. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 π—šπ—Άπ˜π—›π˜‚π—― (π—π˜‚π˜€π˜ π˜π—²π˜€π˜π—²π—±): it creates a repo remotely, add your project files, commit them, and push them to the origin. This process also ADDS A .gitignore file!!! πŸ’‘This was something I had to do for every single project I created for upcoming YouTube videos.

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

In honour of the 15th birthday of @valvesoftware's #Portal2, here's a space portal game I smashed together for a game jam a little while back. I kit-bashed a bunch of Unity asset store packages together and I think it looks pretty fun?! What do people think? Should I pick this back up someday? Should I throw it in VR?
