What a lovely morning our children had with @ProfBrianCox, learning about our solar system! The visit, supported by #GreatHorizons initiative, was a once in a lifetime experience that really inspired us all.
We loved it so much, we were inspired to do our own science activities!
The Mayor and Mayoress of Oldham were proud to welcome their first school visit—Broadfield Primary’s Eco Council! 🍃The pupils shared their Cut Your Carbon campaign and heard inspiring stories from Cllr Abdul Jabbar, whose portfolio includes climate change and Green New Deal 🌱

I’ve recently been diagnosed with ASD. This is still very new to me and there’s lots of processing still to do, but I’m already coming up against the “you don’t talk/act/sound autistic” and this is wild to me because you wouldn’t talk about the children in your class this way…
