Richard Rodriguez to face Mo Vaughn & Vaughn blasted a 3-run home run. The Red Sox cruised to the 7-2 win to take a 3-0 series lead. Steve Avery allowed 2 runs over 7 innings to pick up the win.
Darryl Kile wins the Silver Slugger at pitcher during his first season in Colorado. Kile was named first on 11 of the ballots.
