New dress and appearance updates will soon be released following feedback, testing from #Airmen and reviews conducted as part of the 2020 AF Uniform Board. The changes will be effective upon publication in AFI 36-2903, expected to update in early Oct 2021.

#Airmen, starting 25 June, the @USAirForce’s women’s hair standards will be updated. When hair is secured behind the head, the radius may extend 6’’ to the left & to the right from the point where the hair is gathered. The 12’’ total width must allow for proper wear of headgear.
