The Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt successfully signed its first start-up contracts with 971-Space and AlSadeem Space Solutions to lead the concept design of the lander.

بحمدالله أطلقنا في قصر الوطن التفاصيل العلمية لأحد أهم مشاريعنا في مجال الفضاء "مشروع الإمارات لاستكشاف حزام الكويكبات " . المشروع يستمر 13 عاماً.. 6 سنوات للتطوير و7 سنوات رحلة استكشاف.. ستقطع خلالها المركبة الاماراتية MBR Explorer ٥ مليار كيلومتر متجاوزة كوكب المريخ لاستشكاف 7 كويكبات والهبوط على آخر كويكب في 2034.. مشروع الإمارات لاستكشاف حزام الكويكبات مشروع علمي وطني ضخم .. ومشروع بحثي ومعرفي عالمي متفرد … سيتضمن انشاء شركات إماراتية خاصة في تكنولوجيا الفضاء وإنشاء مركز تحكم أرضي لمهمات الفضاء العميق وتدريب كوادر إماراتية جديدة في هذا القطاع .. وستقطع المركبة 10 أضعاف ما قطعه مسبار الأمل .. وشعار شباب الإمارات القائمين على المهمة "لا شيء مستحيل" .. الإمارات تستطيع أن تحلق بعيداً في الفضاء لخمسة مليار كيلومتر لسبب واحد : هو إيمانها بشبابها وتمكينها لأبنائها.. ومن لا يؤمن بقدرات شبابنا الإماراتي الطموح في كافة القطاعات يحتاج لمراجعة نفسه ومراجعة محبته وولائه لوطنه ..

🇦🇪🛰️ 971Space and Sadeem are the first two Emirati startups to have been selected to work with the UAE Space Agency on the new MBR explorer to the Asteroid Belt Here’s everything you need to know about these two remarkable companies: • Both companies were founded by Emirati engineers who have worked in previous space missions • Ali AlSuwaidi, founder of 971Space brings with him 7 years of space experience, a MSc in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Bioastronautics from CU boulder (my alma mater), and expertise working with the Emirates Mars Mission • 971Space‘s services include advisory services on precision control, spacecraft operations, and end-to-end engineering advisory services • Maryam AlNabooda, founder of Sadeem, brings with her 6 years of space experience, a background in electrical engineering, and considerable expertise in communication and AIT engineering • Sadeem’s services include component and subsystem designs, engineering evaluations and analyses, prototyping and testing simulations, as well as customized engineering support. As part of the UAE Space Agency’s commitment to fostering technology transfer and the development of the private space sector in the region, the two companies are only the first of many more space companies that will be engaged to participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of the MBR explorer, which is expected to land on its final asteroid in 2034.
