ZB Streams is going to be the basis of ZIO HTTP 4.0 by @987Nabil, which will rely on fast streams to simplify request handlers (every body is a stream!), so this work I'm doing on streaming is going to translate into something beautiful and useful THIS year.

🚨 I’m done with zio-http
After 3.11, no more new features from me on the 3.x line.
Instead I’m going full speed on zio-http 4 completely rebuilt on ZIO Blocks
Code is already moving into blocks
Cleaner. Faster. Simpler

zio-http 4 is going all-in on streams.
ZIO Blocks streams become the core body type.
No more Array/Chunk bodies, just pure streams.
The overhead is basically zero anyway... so why keep two worlds? 💀→🌊
Simpler APIs. Better perf.

ZB Streams: No chunking and no cheating (hence, no stack overflows). Powered by a new 'zero allocation' trampolining engine.

@taylorotwell casually shipping a broken app online. The app triggers an alert, which triggers opencode which writes a fix, pushes a PR, then OpenClaw calls Taylor BY PHONE on stage, who responds « merge it », and the fix is merged and deployed. All in 2 minutes, live on stage 😂

zio-http 3.6 (and 3.7) added datastar support and tons of docs
Today I assigned all non bug issues to either 3.8.0 or 4.0
3.8 will be the last planned minor update.
Bug fixes will take highest prio for now
