During the start of the 3 Hours of Monza, the @VerstappenCOM team car, driven by @dani_juncadella, who was in the first stint at the wheel of the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT3, suffered a serious multi-car accident that caused extensive damage to the front end.

After a quick repair in the pits, the car showed great competitive pace and attempted to recover positions, despite being a lap down.
Ultimately, halfway through the race, the damage became unsustainable and dangerous, forcing the team to officially retire the car.
