Our off-show amphibian and invertebrate room has had a face lift! We're excited to announce that we will be opening this room at select times during public opening times to show off our wonderful collection and answer visitor questions. 🦎🐸

Our gift shop has had a bit of a refurbishment! 😍 We're slowly achieving our goal of becoming a sustainable gift shop - almost all of the products on these shelves are made from recycled materials! Isn't that green?! ✅

After a long period of being off-show, our leopard tortoises are now on display in our new Animal Training & Enrichment Academy! They share a house with our giant sulcata tortoises! The Academy is now accessable on weekends to Wildlife Park visitors. 🐢

Hedgehogs hibernate from November through to March/April. During hibernation hedgehogs are not really asleep, instead they drop their body temperature to match their surroundings and enter a state of torpor.

Our popular three day Wildlife Academy for 8-11 year old's and 12-15 year old's is back this February half-term! We've also added a new flexible and affordable one day course focusing on mammals for 8-11's, 12-15's and 16-18 year old. For more information, check out our website!

Our giant tortoises have moved home! 🐢➡️ Our group of sulcata tortoises have moved to their new home in the Animal Training & Enrichment Academy! We can't wait to show off their new enclosure to our visitors!

We have a new carnivorous plant exhibit on our Wildlife of the World corridor! Carnivorous plants are found in bogs and wetlands - soil nutrients are often lacking in these habitats, so they get their nutritional requirements from insects!
