Nearly 75% of Medicaid behavioral health services are provided through managed care organizations, making integrated care a cornerstone of the behavioral health system.
Integrating physical and behavioral health services is critical to improving outcomes, reducing gaps in care, and meeting the demand for whole-person care. Thoughtful policy plays an important role.

ABHW member Evernorth has grown its Behavioral Care Group from virtual services in just 6 markets and a network of 1,000 providers to more than 5,000 providers nationwide, with plans to reach 15,000 providers in 2026. That kind of expansion represents real momentum.
