Conversations with Coaches. I caught up with Nathan Buckley @ncb_cfc just days before his beloved @CollingwoodFC played their grand final. I asked him why his Yes vote is so important and what leadership means to him. FULL VID: instagram.com/reel/Cx48fV0y6… or vm.tiktok.com/ZGJcNEG2Y/

Kids at my school definitely saw colour. The teachers saw colour too. Hi-definition racism.

Paul Kelly’s first ever song that lacks soul and creativity. Wonder how much was he paid to sing the PM Albanese’s talking points?

Not everyone who’s voting No is racist. But every racist will be voting No.
When the referendum gets here the options won’t be… YES NO (Racist) NO (Progressive)

.@Barnaby_Joyce arguing about closing the gap “Why can’t we do that now, why do we need it to go into the constitution?” Exactly. Why can’t we meet those quotas now? Why didn’t you do it when you and Scotty the Secret Minister had the wheel?

When the ‘67 referendum passed Blackfullas didn’t stop marching did they? No. The job is never done. Opportunity evolves. The things we needed in ‘67 aren’t the same as we’ll need in 2027.

Help should be based on where the NEED is. The Voice treats all Indigenous Australians as disadvantaged simply due to their ethnicity. Source: Bronwyn Bishop on Sky News

OK I thought about it. Why is it that the notion of a blackfulla achieving an education or prosperity - ultimately abandons their culture, values or identity? Your repost @nyunggai.
🤔OK, think about this - If it were not for the 'white' people then how on earth did Langton, Pearson, Burnley etc., make their millions? Why have they deserted the Aboriginal way of life for the 'hated' white man life? Wear expensive jewelry, live in expensive houses that not many can afford? -Most important of all why do they not travel out in the bush, meet the true unfiltered Aborigines and part with some of their millions to build outback schools and hospitals? This Voice is not to benefit the outback Aborigines, it will benefit (greatly) people like Langton, Pearson and Burnley who seek more power, prestige and wealth. #VoteNO.

However we ARE more likely to be charged, tried and incarcerated - disproportionately. So any death in custody while in the duty of care of the authorities is going to reflect just that.
Replying to @RichoColin @Briggs
And the more important finding was that Aboriginal people in custody are NOT more likely to die than non-Aboriginal people in custody. Something blactivists do not like to acknowledge.
