This alert is in effect for the Thunder Lake Subdivision.
Emergency management staff are on scene at Thunder Lake this morning to assess damage and ensure site safety before coordinating a safe return for residents.
The evacuation order is still in place for Thunder Lake subdivision. Thunder Lake evacuees are not allowed to return home at this time. County of Barrhead will advise affected residents when they can return. Further updates will be provided approximately 10:00 AM on May 29, 2026.
