there’s this man soliciting for food door to door in our area. word has it that his eldest child, a son, is 24yrs old. i was coming back from my regular morning walks when my neighbor’s were talking about the matter. Neighbour 1 says: but that boy (his first son) suppose don dey remit funds to make him papa life easy na. Neighbour 2 replies: where do you expect him to see the money from? job no easy to get. Mere looking at his popsy sef, you go know say he no get connection. Papa no put effort into paving way for him pikin but you wan make boy of 24 dey cater for family of 9… Neighbour 1: if he like make he no go find update. suddenly, everyone seems to believe the father who decided to marry 2 wives, give birth to 6 kids all in the space of 4years (meaning the children are all becoming adults almost immediately, one after the other) is not at fault because he has a 24year old son who failed to hustle hard. To be man no easy sha.
