At the 21st Asia Clean Energy Forum, I spoke about why deeply connected, highly intelligent networks are essential, and how ADB’s $50 billion Pan-Asia Power Grid Initiative aims to help turn continent-wide interconnection into reality by 2035.
By allowing surplus clean energy in one country to balance the deficit in another, an interconnected regional system acts as a collective shield.
