Everyone should have fundamental rights – regardless of where they live, how much money they make, or who they are. The ACLU is the organization fighting across the nation to protect civil liberties. Help us raise $250,000 this Giving Tuesday to ensure the fights ahead are fully funded heading into 2025. Donate today and have your gift matched. action.aclu.org/give/make-ma…

Today, we filed an amicus brief on behalf of Willie Manning, a wrongfully convicted black man on death row. Every aspect of Willie's trial was tainted by racial discrimination, injustice, and error. We join @ACLU and @MSNAACP in calling on the MS Supreme Court to prevent this miscarriage of justice.

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor the lives of our trans sisters and brothers that were lost to senseless violence and hate. We honor their courage to live authentically. We know honoring them is not enough and that is why we must: - Demand fair housing and safety from poverty, violence and criminalization - Support and affirm the trans people in our lives - Work toward liberation with trans led organizations and trans community members
