Delighted to attend the event where His Excellency Mr @VDoraiswami HCI announced Meenu Malhotra as Newcastle's first Honorary Consul. The former J T Parrish building on Shields Road, Byker, now India House, will serve as the Consulate's office—a key step in UK-India relations.
