UAW Local 2093 workers at American Axle in Three Rivers, MI went out on strike on Monday, June 1st. They are demanding wage increases after pay level losses during the 2008 recession. That year many long-time workers saw their wages cut in half. Today, they still have not made up for all that lost ground. American Axle is presently a profitable company, with strong adjusted earnings and sales reaching $5.8 billion, according to Dauch Corporation 2025 Annual Report. The American Communist Party stands with these workers in their quest for the higher wage levels they justly demand and deserve.

The Ontario chapter of the ACP assisted an elderly neighbour last weekend who was experiencing water leakage in their basement. While we were there, we cleaned up their garden and discussed why communists must be rooted in the community and among the people. Helping your neighbours is not only an act of charity that gives back to the community that formed you, but also is a useful opportunity to learn new skills and develop personally. International Representatives of the American Communist Party attended the 3rd International Anti-Fascist Forum in Moscow. They spoke alongside CPRF Chairman Gennady Zyuganov, and head of the Communist Party of Ukraine, Petro Symonenko. ACP continues to deepen international solidarity against imperialist forces.

ACP Washington celebrated Victory Day with the local Russian community in Seattle with the laying of flowers at the Garden of Remembrance. In the evening, chapter members helped set up the main event and joined in the performances of the songs: Katyusha, Smuglianka, and Cossacks in Berlin.
