Genuinely love my work. To date not one single day have I ever felt like I don't look forward to going to work in primary care. I always want to go in. I'm blessed. We do it for the patients. My employers also make it special.

What a privilege to be tired from work you once begged the universe for. what a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. what a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. What a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for.

Communication should travel via the shortest path to get the job done not through the chain of command Efficiency beats bureaucracy Clear direct communication is powerful Smart people should be trusted to use common sense Culture should support getting things done not slow it

We welcome the Urgent and Emergency Care Plan from @NHSEngland. Older people are one of the biggest user groups of urgent and emergency care services. We are pleased the plan recognises and addresses many of the issues affecting them. buff.ly/MwwvvfR

Project management. Here's another skill from 25 years ago I learned in the pharmaceutical industry. I still use most of these today in healthcare. Learning project management makes you able to manage most things.
