Opening federal spectrum to commercial use entails enhancements to federal systems and capabilities. Therefore, to oppose commercial access is not to protect federal missions but to weaken them.
Good news from @ArielleRothNTIA that 2.7 GHz on the way to greater commercial use. Also a great example of how investments in new technology can enhance federal capabilities while also opening up more commercial capacity.
