The NICU is a scary place, but the nurses are an incredible force for babies and their families: fiercely protective of their patients, befriending older siblings, providing strength to parents.

We still try to visit Kylie every time we are in Aurora for checkups, as well as the other nurses that helped Marian arrive safely and grow strong enough to come home!
