After ASO changed the name of the Criterium du Dauphine to Tour Auvergne-RhƓne-Alpes for 2026, they decided to change the name of the Paris-Roubaix race for the first time in its 123-year history.
The iconic cycling classic ParisāRoubaix is set to be officially renamed Paris-Roubaix Hauts-de-France starting in 2026.
This update reflects the raceās strong regional ties to the Hauts-de-France area (where the brutal cobblestone sectors and the Roubaix velodrome finale are located), even though the name has long been a bit misleadingāthe race hasnāt actually started in Paris since the 1970s (it now begins in CompiĆØgne).
Official sources, including the UCI calendar, already list the 2026 edition as āParis-Roubaix Hauts-de-France.ā
They also announced the wildcards: Unibet Rose Rockets, Modern Adventure, Flanders Baloise, Cofidis, TotalEnergies, Tudor and Pinarello-Q36.5 will get them.
