🌍✨ ADB–UK Urban Learning Week wraps up with action and momentum
Five days. Six countries. One shared goal: to rethink how cities are planned, financed, and delivered.
From 20–24 April, 32 urban practitioners from Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, and ADB explored how cities can effectively address complex urban challenges and deliver effective solutions from regeneration and resilient housing to inclusive mobility and public spaces.
Delivered with
@TheBartlettUCL, and the
@FCDOGovUK through the
#UrbanResilienceTrustFund, the week combined hands-on learning, site visits, and exchanges with leading experts.
💡 Day 5 was all about turning ideas into action. Teams reflected on key lessons, challenged assumptions, and mapped out concrete next steps to translate learning into policies and projects -identifying stakeholders, knowledge and policy gaps, and investment needs.
🚀 What’s next? We look forward to stronger partnerships, and innovative solutions taking shape across the region.
