The hostilities originated in the vicinity of Dabka Junction and expanded into densely populated districts including Howlwadaag, Cabdicasiis, Hodan, Wardhiigley, and parts of Kaaraan. Although active hostilities have subsided, the protection and humanitarian impacts remain acute. Preliminary data indicates approximately 12,500 households displaced. At least 13 fatalities and 189 injuries. Affected populations include women, children, older persons, persons with disabilities, refugees, and asylum seekers. Civilians were unable to evacuate in several locations. Families terrorized, homes destroyed, lives shattered - all to keep your corrupt puppet in power. Turkish weapons and equipment directly used in these atrocities last night: •  Bayraktar TB2 and Akıncı armed drones - deployed for targeting and strikes over civilian neighborhoods. •  Turkish tanks, armored personnel carriers (APCs), and military vehicles - used in direct assaults on opposition areas. •  Heavy artillery, RPGs, logistical support, and elite Gorgor commandos trained at your Camp TURKSOM base. Mogadishu’s streets belong to its citizens, not to private armies. If you claim innocence when law enforcement disarms your militias, then prove it by never arming them in the first place. Violence near the State House is a red line. There is no “peaceful militia.” There is no “innocent armed group.” The only legitimate force in Mogadishu is the state’s own security apparatus. Anyone who supplies weapons to unauthorized groups near the heart of our capital is complicit in every potential act of violence, fear, and instability that follows. To those who arm militias and then cry victim: your tears ring hollow. Disarm. Stand down. Respect the law—or face the full consequences of threatening Somalia’s fragile peace. Mogadishu deserves safety, not strongmen. The people deserve justice, not intimidation.

Somalia: UN Arms Embargo should be reinstated. Somalia is irresponsible to be armed at this stage.
