Just me and buddy Kev out there today. About as quiet as disc golf Twitter these days, but far more beautiful and life-giving.

Trump is like a TD who is unfathomably popular, yet does everything the wrong way until the club finally realizes it, adopts Bernie Sanders populism, sacks the fucker, and makes things work for the people.

Last one: Disc golf is changing, but public courses still operate as beacon towers directing the lonely, whimsical, drug-addicted, troublemaking, musical, broken, brilliant, weirdo hoards to safety. See you out there, my dears. Love y'all.

When you finally get your first ace, please remember that a disc company didn’t throw that shit. You did.

Dear Vendis & Equip: Since acquiring multiple disc companies (HOD), how many: 1) public courses and tournaments have you funded? 2) workers have you fired? 3) benefits/salaries have you reduced? 4) debts have you piled onto House of Disc? 5) days until you sell?

And one more thing, before I leave, if you’re the best disc golfer in the world and you don’t have a nickname, you should see a therapist.

When Republican disc golfers help build public disc golf courses or support their adult children financially, they embrace socialism. They choose socialism for the things they love and foist the logic of capitalism on everyone else.

Imagine if capitalism was the only social system that affected the growth of disc golf. Your favorite pastime would not exist. Paul would be coaching D2 baseball. Ricky would be selling dietary supplements at a mini mall. None of us would know the experience of our first ace.

The greatest injustice of the PDGA/DGPT’s 2023 Ryan takedown was not the flawed, unethical survey that ignited the hate. It was that PDGA/DGPT blamed the women for it. If you ever feel like blaming women for white dudes’ bullshit takes on gender issues, just don’t. Just shut up.

I’m a lib and I love winning. I love our country. I love Paul McBeth who crushed mids for a decade. The difference between libs and cons is that libs favor leveling the playing field so that winning actually means something. That’s why we should vote Democrat.

Growing the sport is a local scene thing not a pro tour thing and we should see the manufacturers make a shift in priorities this off-season

Pro tip: If you are in need of a respite from the terrifying notion that millions of Americans consider Trump a suitable presidential candidate, I recommend spending an hour or two alone on an empty disc golf course.

Yeah, but don't sleep on this comment: "I knew this week was going to be stressful no matter what. When you're in the tournament, you just want to have it over." It's the disc golf dialectic. It's horrible and beautiful. That's what makes it great.
"I just love disc golf so much" And he's good at it, too 😅

They could have nicknamed him something badass like John Connor, but they were like, nah, let’s just use his initials ab.

Dear @usdgc: If, in the late 90s, you left earth on a spaceship that was trailing the Hale-Bopp comet, I wouldn’t blame you for your one-division policy. But it’s 2024 now, so please invite women to your disc golf tournament.

Disc golfers stand around talking about weather forever. Idiots! Waste of time! But I must say the weather for today's round was fantastic. I mean, when the humidity drops, the sun comes out, a slight breeze drifts by, there's nothing better. Weather is awesome. Freaking awesome.

Here's my update: Maple is the best course on tour. Walz is way more likely to show up at a workday than Vance. Smith will play fewer tourneys next year. Capitalism is why you're depressed. Proctor should be your favorite pro because he gazes upon caged animals with sadness.
