Next is the S.F. Snieszko Distinguished Service Award. This is awarded to honor individuals for outstanding accomplishments in the field of aquatic animal health. This year we awarded this to two incredible researchers, Dr. Al Camus and Dr. Matt Griffin!
This year, we had two awardees. First, is Dr. Ben LaFrentz for his outstanding contributions and discoveries that have greatly increased global understanding of columnaris disease. Read the paper that redefines the etiologies behind the disease here: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
On behalf of the section, thank you Dr. Griffin and Dr. Camus. Your past and ongoing contributions to this field are truly incredible, and we are so grateful to have you both in the section as mentors, researchers, and friends.
Congratulations!!!🎉
