Today’s @NLRB decision is a huge win for workers. Captive audience meetings have no place in a fair workplace.
This ruling restores the freedom workers deserve to make their own choices about union representation without fear or intimidation.
“They’re not going to stop” just because voters said to do so.
I talked to @propublica —which as usual gets the stakes—about the voucher lobby’s loss in all 3 states where vouchers were on the direct ballot👇

Pennsylvnia peeps who voted by mail: Have you checked the status of your ballot? Bob Casey is within .5% - 25,000 Votes. But many PA ballots need curing. You can check on your mail ballot here: buff.ly/40FkJiO
Congratulations, @Joanna4PA, on your re-election and keeping the gavel! We know that under Speaker McClinton’s continued leadership, labor and working families will have a strong champion leading a pro-union, pro-worker majority in the house!
Turns out running on fully and fairly funding public schools and keeping public money from being siphoned into the pockets of wealthy families is a winning issue, no matter the district. Congratulations, @RepFrankBurns!
Looks like @APNews may have jumped the gun on their call in the @Bob_Casey race. At least 100k votes still to be counted. Two years ago, provisional ballots broke by 76% for Sen Fetterman. This ain't over. #CountEveryVote
A statement from Secretary Al Schmidt: Throughout the day, the Department has communicated with counties who continue to conduct a secure election where every eligible vote is counted. We estimate there are at least 100,000 ballots remaining to be adjudicated, including provisional, military, overseas, and Election Day votes. We urge patience as election workers continue to do this important work, especially in contests where the margins are very close.
A court order has extended polling place hours in Laflin Borough (Luzerne County) until 9:30 p.m. tonight. Voters in line before 8 p.m. will be able to vote on the county’s regular voting system. Voters who get in line after 8 p.m. will vote by provisional ballot.
Polls in all other precincts in the county will still close at 8 p.m., and those precincts may begin reporting their unofficial results at that time.
Vote like your paid leave depends on it.
Vote like your workplace rights depend on it.
Vote like your overtime pay depends on it.
Vote like your union depends on it.
Because they do.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this long campaign! From organizations, to unions, teachers and vets, you have put your trust in me to represent this community once again, now let’s go win!
