With a clinically led approach and a strong focus on patient safety, @LHCHFT has achieved incredible milestones in digital transformation. They have rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC twice and recently reached achieve HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 in its latest digital maturity assessment.
➡️ The trust is now 99.9% paperless, with all clinical documentation, order communications and prescribing completed digitally through Altera. Everything a clinician needs is at their fingertips.

Today was not a security or cyber incident. Our customers remain fully protected.
We understand the gravity of the situation and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disruption. We are working with all impacted customers to ensure that systems are back up and they can deliver the services their customers are counting on.
As noted earlier, the issue has been identified and a fix has been deployed. There was an issue with a Falcon content update for Windows Hosts.
For the latest information that we will continuously update, please refer to the CrowdStrike website (crowdstrike.com/blog/stateme…), my posts on LinkedIn, and my posts on X. I will continue to provide updates to our community and the industry as they become available.

Today, we said goodbye to Harry Sutton, the programme manager in our digital transformation journey @idigitalnhs 🥹
He has helped coordinate our @AHOphthalmology journey from scanned handwritten notes 🫣 to Medisight the EPR as well as its integration with Meditech. 🖥
Today, as a farewell present, I summarised for him the digital enhancements we've made to our patient workflow since day 1. It was quite an opportunity to reflect on the progress so far...

Alerts for the sake of alerts don’t work! Alerts should require action or response. Finding the difference between Alerts and notification is important! Less is more, frequent alerts lead to fatigue. Our Digital User Group @LHCHFT is crucial for this type of thing.
