Ms. Childs’ Studio Art and Drawing & Painting 1 classes researched admirable Black Americans, discussed their character traits, used a grid to enlarge a picture, and mixed skin color from only red, yellow, and blue with acrylic paint. @AlbanyENL @albanyschools #allinforalbany
Ms. Siy's Environmental Studies class worked with @vegetableprojec to make mini-greenhouses out of milk jugs and plant seeds that will sprout early in the spring. The jugs are outside and we will watch what happens over time! @AlbanyENL #allinforalbany @albanyschools
Mrs. Backes met with the student ambassadors for their first meeting. They made posters in different languages stating to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. They also planned out how to help new students upon arrival to the AIC.@Albanyschools @AlbanyENL #allinforalbany
7th and 8th grade students in Mrs. Backes and Ms. Neckles' classes are working on how to describe others in English by learning about personality traits. This will help them have the language they need to identify these traits in reading. @albanyenl #allinforalbany @albanyschools
