Upcoming road closure in the North East Bay Nature Reserve to protect migrating land crabs. They follow the road to the beach to spawn so the road is closed from 6pm to 6am to allow them to do this safely. #conservation #crabs

Numerous species of snail can be found on Green Mountain, many introduced to the island by people. This includes Subulina striatella – a small land snail up to 2cm long, with a beautiful elongated shell. This species is native to tropical West Africa. #smallislandBIGVISION
