Talented Y12 student James recently attended the Inter Spinal Games at Stoke Mandeville. James won the overall competition for rifle shooting at 10m & has now been selected to attend the British Schools Shooting competition where he'll be listed as representing AKS for Lancashire

Superb day at the Fylde Coast Athletic Championship, many outstanding individual achievements where students have as always given of their best and broken many personal bests. U14 Winners, U15 Joint winners and U13 runners up. INCREDIBLE, well done to @AKSSchool students.

Well what a day and what an achievement. Our Junior girls athletics team travelled to the ESAA track and field regional A finals, as county runners up and ended the day as REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!! That’s right champions. What an achievement by these @AKSSchool girls #blownaway

Well done to Robert & Jack (Y9), & Lauren & Georgina (Y6) who completed the 5km Pretty Tough Mudder, Race for Life in Preston on Saturday. They were tired & covered in mud by the end of the race but had lots of fun! The event raised nearly £50,000 for Cancer Research UK.
