Zapratite me za više saveta.

Jbmlvmmjku, licemeri. 😡

🇷🇸 If you walk through the streets of Belgrade today, you will see magnificent Orthodox churches, a historic mosque, and a rich blend of architectural styles of a city standing at the crossroads of East and West. But if you could step back in time to the 1930s, in the Mali Mokri Lug neighborhood, you would find something entirely unexpected: a Buddhist temple. This is the fascinating story of the Kalmyk community in Belgrade and the home they built for themselves. Following the chaos of the Russian October Revolution in 1917, thousands fled the forming Soviet Union. Among them was a unique group of people, the Kalmyks. They are a West Mongolian people, distinctly Buddhist, who have lived on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Around 400 to 500 Kalmyks found refuge in Serbia, with most settling on the outskirts of Belgrade. Known to locals as hard workers, they dominated the trade of cart drivers (known as "rabadžije"). They integrated well into Serbian society, but they deeply missed their spiritual center. Belgraders of the era showed incredible hospitality. Local industrialist Miloš Savčić donated construction materials, and land was secured in Mali Mokri Lug. Between 1928 and 1929, through the community’s hard work and local support, a traditional Kalmyk Buddhist temple (a hurul) was built. When it was inaugurated in December 1929, it was a major milestone: the first Buddhist temple ever built in Europe, excluding the Russian Empire. It was a vibrant center of culture. The walls were adorned with traditional Kalmyk thangkas, and it housed a grand, silver-plated Buddha statue, sent as a gift from the Japanese Embassy in Bucharest. Tragically, this beautiful example of multicultural Belgrade did not survive the 20th century. During World War II, as the Soviet Red Army advanced, most Belgrade Kalmyks fled further west, fearing persecution. During the Battle for Belgrade in 1944, the temple was severely damaged. After the war, the new authorities had no interest in preserving it. The upper part of the building was torn down around 1950, and the remaining walls were cleared shortly after. Today, nothing remains at the site to show that a golden Buddha once overlooked Mali Mokri Lug. #BelgradeHistory #Kalmyks #Serbia

All blue-eyed people on Earth descend from a single common ancestor. One person had a mutation 6,000–10,000 years ago that switched off melanin production in the iris, creating blue eyes for the first time. That trait spread because it was considered attractive. Green eyes are even rarer, while brown was the original human eye color. A 2008 University of Copenhagen study confirmed that nearly all blue-eyed people share the exact same mutation in the HERC2 gene — strong evidence of a single founder. One tiny genetic change in one individual thousands of years ago created a visible trait now carried by hundreds of millions of people today.

Odgledam posle sto godina još jednom film "Hari Poter i dvorana tajni". Film sam skroz zaboravio, ali mnoge scene i likove pamtim zahvaljujući igrici na Sony Playstation. 😁

"..Sutra, i sutra, i prekosutra teče, Iz dana u dan, ovim sitnim korakom, Do poslednjeg sloga u knjizi vremena; A svi naši jučerašnji dani svetleli su budalama put u prašnu smrt.
