the couple next me needed to STFU during backrooms .... like baby you don't need to explain everything to each other. not only that, but they were having random conversations not related to the movie 😂 the audio in that film is not loud enough to drown yall out

i honestly was in between 7.5 and 8 out of 10 for my rating, but could've been pushed even to nine if it was longer and had a more so everything everywhere all at once feel... like for a movie called backrooms it wasn't as disorienting enough. it should've went full throttle!

i also think it needed to drive the message home more. i do love movies that are understated and make you think abt the meaning but this may have been too understated? it didn't need to spell out everything but there needed to be more tangible things to grasp onto.
