Our Consumer Advisory Panel has welcomed a new member to represent Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) patients. Trevor Day was diagnosed with MCC – a rare form of skin cancer – in 2020. Trevor hopes to help people understand the physical and mental aspects of dealing with MCC.

After Paul Beard's lung transplant, the immunosuppressant drugs he needed led to skin cancers. Paul enrolled in the SiroSkin trial, which is testing whether a topical cream can reduce the burden of facial skin cancers in organ transplant recipients. masc.org.au/paul/
