I agree, they made the decision to leave and were never in danger — it just shows a lack of professionalism by Mckinnes who deep down knew they bottled it from a position of strength (own it Derek) come back bigger better and mentally stronger and go again next season
The fallout from Saturday has been absolutely incredible. Rangers and Hearts fans are now demanding Celtic forfeit the title all because fans ran onto the pitch after full-time. Now don’t get me wrong — I think anyone who runs onto the pitch is an idiot. But in moments of that magnitude, with the title on the line and emotions at boiling point, people unfortunately lose the head. What I will say though is this: Hearts had every opportunity to wait in the tunnel area until the pitch was cleared, which didn’t even take that long, and then come back out to play the remaining 30–40 seconds they are all suddenly desperate to talk about now. But they didn’t. Derek McInnes and his players went straight down the tunnel, straight onto the bus and out the stadium in a huff. They clearly had no intention of returning to play those remaining seconds. So this narrative that “Hearts wanted to continue the match” is complete nonsense. If they truly wanted the game restarted, they could have easily waited until the pitch dispersed and played it out. Instead, they chose to leave the building like children throwing the toys out the pram. The more they scream for forfeits and investigations, the more embarrassing they’re making themselves look. 🍀

Yes we are, Martin, the players are to be commended and are a credit to club — Celtic senior leadership team need to step up like the playing staff did and learn from previous mistakes, don’t rest on your laurels unite the whole club by investing the clubs money to grow it

True story
Now the dust has settled.. The reaction from many high profile people is way over the top. John Beaton was advised to go to the monitor and saw that the ball hit the arm in an unnatural position Bottom line is people would hate to see Celtic win the title again and that is all.

Can a fleet of ambulances please make their way tonight to Tynecastle and the Sky studio in aid of Kris Boyd? He is in clear need of cardio, emotional and psychological help. He is palpitating before the very nation. Is there a local priest handy to issue the last rites?

Totally agree he’s demonstrated resilience and character kept his head down and got on with it when other ls would have hid💪🏻
Liam Scales wasn't short of critics when Celtic struggled a bit this season, but the guy never hides and get's stuck in every week. I thought he had another very good game at the weekend against a big, awkward side.

Here we can see the “hard man” Mikey Moore throwing a brutal elbow to the face of the Calmac. He then proceeds to grab his throat in an act of violence… No VAR intervention, no nothing. Trusty got sent off for less against Hibs total SFA corruption. (Thats how it works yeah?)

Spot on he’s a Rolls Royce of a footballer and the difference that kept us in the title — dynamic, powerful, willing runner and measured midfield play 🟩⬜️🟧
Stuck by Engels all season and got slated for it. If you still don’t rate him and think he was a waste of £11m then you know nothing about football. He’s 100% made a huge difference since back from injury and without him I don’t think we would still be in the title race. Thought he was superb today 💪🍀
