Gaudí, Catalonia!
⬛️⬜️ Antoni Gaudí was not a Spanish but a Catalan architect, and a committed defender of the Catalan language & identity.
He refused to give up his language, even when speaking to the Spanish King, and was arrested in 1924 for not switching languages before Spanish authorities.

At Catalonia ... in Catalan
⬛️⬜️@assemblea has addressed a joint letter to the Pope urging him to give Catalan the place it deserves in his visit, and reminding him that Catalonia seeks to exercise the right to self-determination.
Language is more than a means of communication, it's our heritage & identity.
