meet Mr. Vikas Gautam, advocate
Recently, he uploaded a video stating,
"𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮'𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩."
These are not words I heard for the first time. In fact, such remarks are commonly heard when people call NGOs regarding animal-related issues.
On that point, I agree. 𝙉𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩. However, when you publicly share your phone number and tell people they can contact you whenever they need help, people naturally expect a responsible and respectful response. When the reality turns out to be a case of "big name, little substance," trust is broken and expectations are shattered.
At the same time, I will openly admit that in my experience over the last three years, 75–80% 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. Many simply report an act of cruelty and 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. That mindset is equally wrong. This is precisely why, when I say that 99.99% of Animal Welfare is not functioning effectively, 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨.
Now, an important 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩 ⚠️
When the dog-related matter was being heard in the Supreme Court, several protests focused exclusively on dogs, with emotional slogans and dog-centric messaging. During the same period, arguments emerged such as, "𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨." 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙇 𝙂𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨
Others questioned, "𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨?" These narratives caused significant damage to the movement.
In that context, 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙖 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨, 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨, 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨.
Vikas Gautam himself acknowledges this fact that cattles are included in sc order ✅
However, instead of discussing the suggestion constructively, 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙗𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙫 𝙫𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙥 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨.
We were mocked, team members were removed from the group, and attempts were made to portray us as "anti-animal welfare" figures.
You can add:
𝙑𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙂𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙚. 𝙄 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙂𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙨𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢. 𝙄𝙛 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣. 𝙄𝙛 𝙣𝙤𝙩, 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨.
Any reasonable person should ask a simple question:
If someone says, "𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡," is that an attempt to divide 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 ❓❓
Animal Welfare means the welfare of all animals, not selective compassion reserved for a few chosen species.
In the coming days, I will present such cases one by one, backed by evidence, so that people can judge for themselves what the ground reality actually is.
