Ajnara Homes, Greater Noida. May 2024. A community dog was found dead after allegedly falling from the 15th floor. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻, while authorities launched an investigation and registered an FIR under Sections 289 and 429 IPC. The dog was reportedly a familiar part of the society and had recently given birth to seven puppies. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, including puppies allegedly being thrown from high-rise buildings. Yet justice in such cases remains slow, weak, and often forgotten. When an animal falls from a 10th or 15th floor, the question is simple: accident or cruelty? That is exactly why fair, transparent, and time-bound investigations are essential. Animals cannot record evidence, file complaints, or speak for themselves. Their only hope is that authorities take such cases seriously and ensure accountability wherever cruelty is proven. 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 - share.google/yGyhQ2pIMFkPfMQ… #AnimalCruelty #GreaterNoida

The destruction of ancient Elephant Corridors from Jharkhand to Odisha has forced these gentle giants into conflict with humans. Labeling them as "killers" is easy, but the truth is they are fighting for their survival after losing their homes to encroachment. Nature's patience has its limits. 🐘 #SaveElephants #ElephantCorridor

meet Mr. Vikas Gautam, advocate Recently, he uploaded a video stating, "𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮'𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩." These are not words I heard for the first time. In fact, such remarks are commonly heard when people call NGOs regarding animal-related issues. On that point, I agree. 𝙉𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩. However, when you publicly share your phone number and tell people they can contact you whenever they need help, people naturally expect a responsible and respectful response. When the reality turns out to be a case of "big name, little substance," trust is broken and expectations are shattered. At the same time, I will openly admit that in my experience over the last three years, 75–80% 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. Many simply report an act of cruelty and 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. That mindset is equally wrong. This is precisely why, when I say that 99.99% of Animal Welfare is not functioning effectively, 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨. Now, an important 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩 ⚠️ When the dog-related matter was being heard in the Supreme Court, several protests focused exclusively on dogs, with emotional slogans and dog-centric messaging. During the same period, arguments emerged such as, "𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨." 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙇 𝙂𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨 Others questioned, "𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨?" These narratives caused significant damage to the movement. In that context, 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙖 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨, 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨, 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨. Vikas Gautam himself acknowledges this fact that cattles are included in sc order ✅ However, instead of discussing the suggestion constructively, 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙗𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙫 𝙫𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙥 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨. We were mocked, team members were removed from the group, and attempts were made to portray us as "anti-animal welfare" figures. You can add: 𝙑𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙂𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙚. 𝙄 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙂𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙨𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢. Any reasonable person should ask a simple question: If someone says, "𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡," is that an attempt to divide 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 ❓❓ Animal Welfare means the welfare of all animals, not selective compassion reserved for a few chosen species. In the coming days, I will present such cases one by one, backed by evidence, so that people can judge for themselves what the ground reality actually is. 𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 👇

Here is the link to the video in which he made all these statements and even threatened to drag the other person through court proceedings. instagram.com/reel/DZiOTnCBR… In fact, my message to genuine feeders and animal caretakers is simple: if you call someone expecting help, you cannot force them to help you. It is far better to learn the rules, regulations, laws, and relevant guidelines yourself, build your own knowledge and capabilities, and stand up for animals with confidence and conviction. Fighting for animals on your own merits will give you far more peace of mind than blindly following influencers or seeking their approval. There is a handbook available on the AWBI website that I strongly recommend everyone read. Educate yourself, stay informed, and become aware of your rights and responsibilities. Now For everyone's information, I want to explain why we requested that all animals be included in the post. The reasons are listed below. The issue was that by presenting yourselves as animal lovers while focusing selectively, your position was becoming weaker, even from a legal and advocacy perspective. It was also creating a negative perception among neutral observers, who were beginning to question and judge our stance on this point. 1 2

India's dogs, cattle, and other animals are 𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙙 - not just because of cruelty, but because 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 self-proclaimed animal lovers, NGOs, and activists are 𝙝𝙮𝙥𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨, not speaking up when animals actually need them. After the alleged killing of 15 dogs in Ahmedabad, 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨. Most people seem content forwarding reels and messages in WhatsApp groups while doing nothing meaningful ... I have lost faith in 99.99% of the animal welfare community. Choose Consistency. Choose Compassion. 🌱💚 We share our homes with some animals. We celebrate and cherish some animals. Yet others are bred, exploited, and killed for food, fashion, or tradition. 💔 If compassion is our value, should it depend on the species? 🤔 It's worth reflecting on whether our actions align with the kindness we believe in. Stop being part of the contradiction of loving some animals while supporting harm to others. Choose compassion for all. Choose vegan. 🕊️🌱 #GoVegan #ChooseCompassion #AnimalRights #Ahimsa #BeConsistent #ForAllAnimals

Thread🧵👇 Acharya Prashant: A Voice of True Sanity 🌿 Acharya Prashant (IIT-D & IIM-A) is one of the clearest voices today. He boldly speaks on Climate Change first, then Animal Welfare, Veganism, and Environment Conservation. He beautifully explains the real essence of Dharma beyond rituals - while integrating it with science, reason, and technology. A rare modern saint worth praising. A tiger doesn't belong behind glass. An elephant doesn't belong in a concrete enclosure. A bear doesn't exist for our entertainment. Zoos normalize captivity while calling it conservation. India has over 150 recognized zoos and rescue facilities regulated by the Central Zoo Authority (CZA) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Yet behind the tickets, selfies and entertainment, many captive animals spend years inside artificial enclosures far smaller than their natural ranges. Wild animals are not exhibits. Elephants, big cats, bears, primates and many other species can suffer from chronic stress, abnormal repetitive behavior ("zoochosis"), confinement-related health issues, disease outbreaks and psychological distress when deprived of natural habitats and freedom. Recent incidents have raised serious questions: • 31 blackbucks died within days at Karnataka's Kittur Rani Chennamma Zoo, triggering investigations and allegations of negligence. • Toxic phosphine traces were found in samples of animals that died at Delhi Zoo. • At Kerala's Puthur Zoological Park, multiple deer were killed after stray dogs entered the premises due to security failures. If conservation is the goal, then protecting forests, wildlife corridors and natural ecosystems should come before displaying animals in cages. we urge @CZA_Delhi @Min_FAHD @Dept_of_AHD @byadavbjp and Supreme Court of India to move toward a future where wild animals are protected in sanctuaries, reserves and natural habitats rather than being bred, traded and exhibited for human entertainment. What can ordinary citizens do❓ • Stop treating zoos as recreational attractions. • Support wildlife sanctuaries and habitat conservation projects. • File RTI applications and demand transparency on animal deaths and welfare standards. • Report neglect, abuse or suspicious animal deaths. • Educate children that wildlife belongs in the wild. A cage cannot replace a forest. A concrete enclosure cannot replace freedom. #BanZoos #WildlifeProtection @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @WOAH @APEDADOC

Whenever an animal welfare protest is organized, politics somehow finds its way in. From what I've heard, even today there was the same old "tu-tu-main-main" and groupism. At a time when Delhi is witnessing countless cruelty cases and the administration appears increasingly indifferent, seeing only around 50 people turn up for a protest is genuinely disappointing. That said, to some extent I am satisfied today. For once, the discussion was not limited to makeup, selfies, introductions, and emotional speeches. At least some meaningful conversations took place around policies, rules, regulations, and practical solutions - something that many of us had been suggesting for a long time. Thank you to those who contributed constructively and tried to keep the focus on systemic issues rather than personalities. And to everyone else who continues to sleep through animal welfare issues - Happy Sleeping 😴😴 #StopDogCruelty
