When a figure in your paper includes abbreviations, define them (usually in the figure note), even if you already did so in the text of your paper.
👉 A reader should be able to understand abbreviations in a figure without looking for definitions separately in the text.

When there is no author credited for a work you are citing, do not use “Anonymous” in the reference's author element unless the work is actually signed or otherwise credited to “Anonymous.”
