IT’S OFFICIAL 🎉 Just yesterday, NJ @GovMurphy signed a bill banning the extreme confinement of mother pigs and baby cows. Thank you to @APLNJ_, a member of the Animal Protection Alliance, and our dedicated supporters for your relentless pursuit of this day for over a decade 🐷🐮
Thanks to everyone speaking up for the Saddle River deer!
The killing is paused while town officials evaluate the program, but our OPRA requests have already shown that car/deer collisions went up after the killing started.

Once again, the front table at the NJ bear hunt hearing is empty. No one gave a presentation, and no one is answering questions.
Please speak out! Today, 1pm-8pm:

We have cleared the first hurdle in the bear hunt lawsuit! The court is allowing our emergent motion to move forward and the hunt will not be allowed to proceed while the court is deciding the motion. #saveNJbears
The NJ Fish & Game Council has approved a bear hunt, but it still needs Governor Murphy’s approval.
Please keep calling the Governor’s office to ask him to cancel the bear hunt: 609-292-6000.

Thank you, @StevenFulop, for standing up for science and compassion!
Hunting won’t prevent human/bear conflicts. Only management of garbage, bird feeders, and other attractants will stop bears from coming to residential neighborhoods #saveNJbearsfacebook.com/100044613391426…

Proudly introducing the newest member of our family, Morty Murphy!
Morty is one of 4,000 beagles rescued from the Envigo breeding and research facility and in need of a new home.
He is settling in and already enjoying much deserved snuggles and treats. Welcome home, Morty! 🐾
Every person who goes #vegan is a vital contribution to the nonviolent revolution that will eventually shift the paradigm away from animals as property and toward animals as persons.
