ENGL 520 – Literature and Theology
Literature & Theology students read, discuss, & critically analyze literary texts with religious themes. The goal of this course is to combine the study of literary texts with insights gained from Christian theology.

ENGL 568 — Writing for Religious Audiences
Many Christian publications draw millions of readers from all walks of life, and this course prepares students to write for these large Christian audiences and market their work to editors and agents.

Meet Dr. Carole Lambert! The author of several books & an expert on comparative literature, Dr. Lambert specializes in Holocaust studies, namely the teaching & writings of Elie Wiesel. Students tackle challenging narratives through focused analysis of literary classics.

Meet Dr. Emily Griesinger! Students learn to #growinfaith in Dr. Griesinger’s, courses. She teaches Brit lit, literature & theology, literature & medicine, and spiritual autobiography/memoir that consult the Bible for a deeper understanding of literary narratives.
