Hundreds of faculty and students who worked and learned in Poe Hall were eagerly awaiting the results of the CDC’s investigation into the building. Because of federal cuts, they might not get answers, and that’s unacceptable.

Some of y’all forget the reason we have food safety regulations is because companies used to do things like adding chalk to spoiled milk so it looked normal. Regulations don’t exist because governments enjoy them. They exist because pure unadulterated capitalism would kill us.

WCK is fortunate to have multiple helicopters assisting with meal deliveries in hard to reach communities as we work to feed people in response to Hurricane Helene. Once we drop off food, water, and supplies, the choppers are open to help in other ways on return trips.
