The Last of Us seems like a pretty faithful adaptation of the original game but I think it was cowardly to leave out the scene where joel gets killed 18 times in the first clicker room and considers getting a refund
It's a shame they had to cut Columbo from Final Fantasy X, but he did add about 40 hours to the cutscenes alone.
ALT A fake page mimicking the book series Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive. It shows 'concept art' of the tv detective Columbo as if drawn by Tetsuya Nomura. He is holding a cigar and posed in a thinking sort of manner with wind flapping his coat.
Text at the top of the page reads 'Columbo: the ruffled, cigar chomping detective who asks all the right questions.'
There is a fake screenshot at the bottom of the page depicting a supposed 3d model of Columbo against a beach backdrop. The description reads: A detective from the lost city of angels, he arrives in Spira in a small puttering four wheeled machina. He claims to be seeking an Al Bhed who can repair it so he can return to his wife before dinner. Under this pretence he investigates and interrogates everyone, becoming particularly curious around the death of Lord Jyscal. Behind his disarming bumbling facade lies a mastermind of deduction and reason.
ALT A close up of tv Detective Columbo in the world of Final Fantasy X. He is set against the beaches of Besaid Island. He has one eyebrow raised towards someone off-screen. The subtitles read: "Excuse me ma'am, could you Spira minute? Just a little local humour don't mind me."
ALT A screenshot from the game Final Fantasy X with the villain Seymour in the foreground, and tv detective Columbo entering back in through a door in the background. Columbo has a hand up to his forehead and looks like he is thinking out loud. The subtitles read "Ah y'know, just one more thing, Maester Seymour..."
I know I’m late to the party on this but these Elden Ring birds with blades on their talons who hurl explosive barrels at you are some NES-tier bird enemies, just world class shitty birds.
Even the most beautiful house is incomplete without the family and friends that make it a home. A very happy #Thanksgiving to you and yours from all of us at Coohom!
Home offices; where many of us now spend vast amounts of time. Do you prefer a loud, busy space, or a quiet, well-lit corner where you can really get your #deepwork zen on?
Reinstated my Netflix for a month because I mistakenly believed something would be on there that isn't. Welp, now I've got it, any recommendations on what I should watch?
Having a plot point revealed and/or reinforced to one of the characters by way of a set of TVs stacked in a window tuned to the relevant channel at exactly the right time and WHO STACKS DOZENS OF TVS IN A STOREFRONT WINDOW?
