Open Sachem Football practice tonight at Fred Fusaro Alumni Stadium. I spoke with senior lineman Angelo Portillo about this upcoming season. Like a true leader - and music to my ears and heart - he explained what it means to play for Sachem: “To be able to play with the word Sachem across my chest means a lot. As a young kid, I never understood what Sachem meant, but growing up and seeing last year how packed the stands were, seeing how much us winning games meant for the community, it’s truly incredible to see what a football team can do for the community.” Don't just live in your community; be part of it! 🏹
