This month, AR Design Studio celebrates its 25th anniversary, marking an incredible journey that began with founder Andy Ramus working from his bedroom in a student flat in Hackney in 2000 designing furniture and loft conversions from his Hackney flat.

Our latest project Meadow View in @thetimes AR designed a contemporary new build, but the budget didn’t allow a complete rebuild. AR took an innovative approach, transforming the house into a brand-new contemporary home—without the cost of a full replacement dwelling.

At AR we recognise that light plays a pivotal role in delineating spaces and creating a dynamic atmosphere in the home. In our client's living spaces, we maximise natural light to create a light and airy atmosphere while in transitional spaces, we can play with softer lighting.
