Suite à sa nomination aux Games Awards pour sa performance dans Clair Obscur : Expedition 33, Charlie Cox a déclaré qu'il ne méritait pas sa place, mais que c'est l'acteur français (Maxence Cazorla) qui mérite cet honneur pour le rôle de Gustave.
"Il y a un acteur français incroyable du nom de Maxence Cazorla qui a réalisé la quasi-totalité de la capture des mouvements pour ce rôle… Toute nomination ou toute mention que je reçois, je dois vraiment la lui attribuer."
