Why is it so hard for people, especially some wellness influencers, to admit this simple truthâŠ.
You can do everything right. You can eat the kale, take the supplements, walk 10k steps a day, lift the weights, meditate, sleep 8 hours, avoid sugar, avoid seed oils, avoid whatever gives you joy in the name of wellness, anddddd you can still get sick.
That doesnât mean lifestyle doesnât matter. It does. Immensely.
But it also doesnât mean youâre to blame when things go wrong. Health is not a merit badge. And illness is not a personal failure.
Youâre allowed to try your best and still need help. Thatâs not weakness. Thatâs being human and acknowledging our realities.
