After a rather abortive move to Bluesky, we are now properly on Instagram as @fulhambellringers and will be doing our posting there in future.

Here’s TC Owen receiving his ART achievement certificate from Rev Peter on our Bell Sunday. Congratulations to Owen on the award and on his preaching at today’s services 👏

Excellent practice last night thanks to reinforcements from @PutneyBells and elsewhere. All 10 ringing at practice for the 1st time in ages, plus Stedman, St Simons and Grandsire practice.

Boosting this yet again. Lots of people tweeter here follows on X in a personal or professional capacity are going to BlueSky, I think I’ve seen a couple of ringing posts on Threads, but finding it hard to search.
I asked this a while back but am asking again given recent developments. Are ringing accounts moving off Twitter, and if so where are you going?

We welcomed our new vicar at @AllSaintsFulham, Rev Peter Dobson, this evening with a quarter of Grandsire Doubles, then general ringing on all 10 bells (first time we’ve rung all 10 for a while, & it’s such a great sound).

Another good practice last night. Learners Carol and Niyi making excellent progress, and a visitor from Canada made all the difference to our upping our Stedman game.

Last week we had an informal tea party to say goodbye to former Tower Captain Eddie as he prepares to move to Brighton. Eddie was instrumental in reviving our band in the early 00s and has been a mentor, inspiration & friend to many ringers in the SW London area

Because a lot of people are unavailable and the temperature is going to be very high we won’t be practising this week. But we are hoping to practise during August 🤞

Great practice tonight. Built on our Stedman Doubles & even managed a simple touch (once tweeter was moved to the tenor!). Also some intense dodging practice for one of our learners. All helped a lot by Paula from @PutneyBells. And we had a lovely US visitor from Northampton MA🙂

Energetic session of 60 on 3rds this morning. Not proper Devon style, but we made quite a good job of it.

Only 5 this morning but we had some respectable Bob Minimus with cover. No band practice this Tuesday as Tower Captain & Ringing Master (and pretty much everyone else!) unavailable.

We didn’t get the quarter but still dedicated the 720 Bob Doubles that we did manage to Penny on her retirement as vicar of @AllSaintsFulham bb.ringingworld.co.uk/view.p…

A bit short-handed for Ascension Day ringing this morning, but thanks to Paula from @PutneyBells we managed to ring our back 5 (and managed a quite respectable lower too!)

We had a Stedman masterclass last night at practice and ended up ringing a quite respectable plain course 🙂

We enjoyed welcoming @ouscr to ring for the Boat Race yesterday - and are grateful that they left the bells up to save us a chore on Easter Sunday morning!

On Saturday we had a QP in memory of Ringing Master Mark's brother Tim Younger, ringer at St Mary's Hemel Hempstead, who died after a short illness on 21st February bb.ringingworld.co.uk/view.p…
