Vanillaware founder George Kamitani - wants to put their other games on PC (Unicorn Overlord, 13 Sentinels, Dragon's Crown, etc.) but says it's up to the publisher to finance the ports

Let it be known: female protagonists in gaming wouldn't be where they are today without Ellie Williams. She helped bring them into the mainstream and proved they could lead some of gaming's greatest stories. So whenever you see a peak female protagonist, be grateful for Ellie🐐

Female protagonists have been part of mainstream gaming since at least the 1980s. Samus Aran from Metroid (1986) and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (1996) were influential long before Ellie in 2013.

Rezero is the best just because you forget that it's an isekai. It breaks the isekai barrier by offering an unique experience unlike any other isekai.

I legitimately don’t know any other story that handled an amnesia plot line as great as re zero did. It should be the standard on how to write an amnesia plot line in a story
The fact that Re: Zero has handled amnesia plots better than Dandadan is interesting. But I'm not complaining, it is REALLY good.

I remember when Re:Zero season 1 aired and the popular criticism of the show was "Subaru can Return by Death so there are no stakes!" and people would parrot this take everywhere like it was the ultimate argument

没有几个人在乎mc会有的心理问题，就好像这些角色就天生应该像是克苏鲁神话里的传奇调查员。
这也是为什么EVA能够长久的闪耀，能关注到角色在压力下的脆弱和不堪的那一面可以检验创作者的剧本和人物形象塑造能力。
