Two people have been arrested following a serious assault in Burnham-on-Sea this morning (27 May).
We were called at around 6.15am to Apex Park following a call from the ambulance service about one person with a laceration to the wrist.

Officers have arrested a man following an assault in Bridgwater last Friday (15 Nov).
A 35-year-old man was pulled from the river and arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident in Fore Street at around 8.30pm

The A38 Taunton Road, in Bridgwater, is closed in both directions today (4 August) following a serious collision.
The road is closed from Huntworth Business Park roundabout to Showground Road/Stockmoor Drive roundabout. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.

A 27-year-old man has been jailed for three years for the robbery of an elderly woman in Puriton in 2022.
Cory Farrar, of Bridgwater, was sentenced at Taunton Crown Court last week.
The victim has spoken of the "huge" impact the incident has had.

We're at a collision on Rowberrow Ln off the A38 nr Shipham. An overturned milk tanker is blocking the road & has spilt its load.
Officers were called at about 11.20am today Sun 30 June. The driver has gone to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

The A370 Weston Rd, East Brent is partially closed following a two-car collision around 10.40am on Thurs 16 May.
